As with other Wetherspoon locations, the food was as expected—nothing too disappointing. However, the prices here were surprisingly lower than at other branches, which was a pleasant surprise.
The staff were polite and provided good service. The only downside was the staircase leading to the toilets—it was quite long, which might be inconvenient for some guests.

We visit a lot of Wetherspoons, and the Reading branch stands out by far as the best in terms of service! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The team here really go above and beyond to ensure customers have a great experience, making it a pleasure to visit. The service was quick, the atmosphere was great, and it’s clear that the staff take pride in their work. A huge thank you to the team – we’ll definitely be back!

Thursday 7.30 pm. Had fish & chips mushy peas and a pint of Abbot ale. Fantastic value, tasty food, nice pint and brought to the table quickly after ordering on the Ap.
Never disappointed here, why can't others match their value? The place is always crowded with all ages.
